A bezel (100) for use in a merchandising system (500) is provided. The bezel (100) includes an information display (102) and a graphic display (104) including one or more visual indicators. The bezel (100) also includes a card reader (108) configured to process payments from a cashless payment card. The bezel (100) further includes a bill recycler access slot (106) providing access to a bill recycler (114). In the bezel (100), illumination of the graphic display (104) is controlled in response to information received from the bill recycler (114).
