The invention concerns a bicomposite collagen material which is biocompatible, non-toxic and biodegradable in less than one month, characterised in that it comprises solely, or mainly, two closely linked layers forming a film based on a collagen constituent, in particular collagen which has lost at least partially its helical structure, or gelatine, and a layer forming a non-compacted porous compress based on a polymer constituent. Moreover, said hemostatic material is particularly useful for preventing post-operative adhesions and for healing wounds.

L'invention concerne un matériau collagénique bicomposite qui est biocompatible, non-toxique et biodégradable en moins d'un mois, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend uniquement, ou principalement, deux couches intimement liées, à savoir une couche formant un film à base d'un composant collagénique, notamment de collagène ayant perdu au moins partiellement sa structure hélicodaïle, ou de gélatine, et une couche formant une compresse poreuse sensiblement non tassée à base d'un composant polymère. Ce matériau hémostatique est particulièrement utile en outre pour la prévention des adhérences post- opératoires et la cicatrisation des plaies.
