A bottle-shaped container shows a large critical strength against buckling and is made of a reduced amount of synthetic resin material. A manufacturing method can manufacture such a bottle-shaped container. A lightweight bottle-shaped container made of synthetic resin and formed by biaxially- oriented blow-molding, characterized in that a wall thickness is increased to 109% or more of an average wall thickness of blow-molded part of the wall at an inflection point between a portion having a transversal cross sectional area and a portion having a different transversal cross sectional area in a cylindrical wall. The wall is thicker between the heel and the bottom, or at the waist, at the recessed rib, or at the projection.
L'invention concerne un récipient léger en forme de bouteille moulé bi-axialement par étirage-gonflage. Une partie d'une paroi cylindrique du récipient contenant au moins une section transversale avec un point d'inflexion au niveau d'une section de connexion entre les parties de la paroi présentant différentes zones transversales présente une épaisseur de 109 % ou plus par rapport à l'épaisseur moyenne de la paroi de la partie moulée par étirage-gonflage du récipient. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication dudit récipient en forme de bouteille. Les sections de connexion entre les parties inférieures (14, 24 et 34) et les parties de fond (15, 25 et 35), les parties centrales (16 et 26), les nervures concaves (27, 37 et 39) et une partie saillante (28) sont moulées de manière à posséder une plus grande épaisseur. Ledit récipient en forme de bouteille présente une plus grande résistance au flambage tout en maintenant la quantité de matière première de résine synthétique à un faible niveau.
