A film consisting essentially of polystyrene and styrene-butadiene copolymer. The film has a haze of less than about 15 % when haze is measured with a sample of the film being 15 mil thick by ASTM D1003-92 and has a ductility greater than about 1 in-lbs as measured by the Gardner impact test (ASTM D5420-93) at room temperature with a sample of film being 15 mil thick. The film is biaxially oriented and comprises from about 60 to about 94 wt.% polystyrene and from about 6 to about 40 wt.% styrene-butadiene copolymer of the total weight of the film. The styrene-butadiene copolymer has a butadiene content of from about 10 to 50 wt.% of the styrene-butadiene copolymer. The film may be formed into a container for transporting food.
