ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Biaxially stretched lengths of synthetic resin material, preferably in the form of panels or glazing members, fabricated from synthetic resin for which there exits a temperature range above the softening temperature and below the temperature range of the thermoplastic phase in which a thermoplastic phase occurs; the biaxial stretching in the surface region of the said length being substantially greater that that in the core region, which preferably is unstretched. The lengths of the present invention, while showing the improved mechanical properties and weather resistance of synthetic resin lengths biaxially stretched in the thermoplastic phase, have enhanced dimensional stability under the application of heat.
