the invention provides novel precursor reagents used in production of imaging agents derived from apcitide. Imaging agents made using the precursor reagents of the invention are useful for in vivo dectection and diagnosis of thrombi. The precursor reagents of the invention may also be used in production of antithrombotic agents derived from apcitide. The presence of the free carboxylate groups affords the precursor reagents greater solubility than bibapcitide in aqueous media.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux réactifs précurseurs utilisés pour produire des agents d'imagerie dérivés de l'apcitide. Les agents d'imagerie fabriqués au moyen des réactifs précurseurs selon l'invention sont utiles pour la détection in vivo et le diagnostic des thrombi. Les réactifs précurseurs selon l'invention peuvent également être utilisés pour produire des antithrombotiques dérivés de l'apcitide (i). La présence de groupes carboxylate libres confère aux réactifs précurseurs une plus grande solubilité que le bibapcitide en milieu aqueux.
