In a method for making bicomponent polymer fibers (38), first (A) and second (B) molten polymers are supplied to a rotating spinner (10) having an orificed peripheral wall (32). The molten polymers (A,B) are centrifuged through the orifices as molten bicomponent polymer streams. The streams are cooled to make bicomponent polymer fibers (38).

Dans un procédé permettant de fabriquer des fibres de polymère bicomposées (38), un premier polymère (A) et un second polymère (B) fondus sont amenés à un panier centrifugeur rotatif (10) comportant une paroi périphérique percée d'orifices (32). Les polymères fondus (A, B) sont centrifugés au travers des orifices sous forme de flux de polymères bicomposés fondus, puis ils sont refroidis de façon à donner des fibres de polymère bicomposées (38).
