ABSTRACT A child carrier assembly for a bicycle is provided. The child carrier assembly of the invention includes a seat assembly for retaining the child, a frame assembly for supporting the seat assembly on the bicycle behind the bicycle seat, and an assembly for strapping the child in a seat assembly. The carrier assembly also includes a head supporting assembly for supporting the head of the child when the child is carried in the carrier. The assembly of the invention can be removed from the bicycle without the use of any tools.
