1114-4 A B S T R A C T BICYCLE FRAME The bicycle frame has separate tubes made of composite mate- rial and joined to each other by means of a coiled band also made of composite material. In the region of the crank axle bracket is therefore achieved a more solid coiled band arrangement which joins together the saddle tube, the lower frame tube and the rear fork tubes with the crank axle bracket and forms a compact junction and force taking unit.
