ABSTRACT A bicycle frame lug comprises a hollow body having at least two cylindrical sockets extending along separate, angularly divergent axes and adapted to receive bicycle frame tubes at a bicycle frame joint. At least one cable guide member is formed integrally with an outside surface of the body. This differs from the prior art practice of brazing or welding cable guide members to the frame tubes themselves at the risk of weakening or degrading the thin aluminum or steel alloy materials. The integral cable guide members reinforce the lugs, providing added strength to the frame without adding weight.
