ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A briefcase mountable on a bicycle by hooks which engage loops, one on the crossbar of the bicycle frame and the other on the briefcase, preferably along the bottom wall, and a stabilizer means to prevent the briefcase from swinging from side to side, mounted on one of the inclined bars of the frame having protruding fingers extending along on either side of the briefcase respectively. The stabilizer means may also support a water bottle and the briefcase may be compartmentalized to hold papers, water bottle, bicycle chain and lock and other articles. The briefcase may be made of two concave shells of moulded plastic, hinged along their bottom wall.
