ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device is described for securement of a bicycle pannier to a normally generally quadrangular supporting frame. The system utilizes two hooks at each side and near the top of the rear wall of the pannier and a single hook at the bottom and centrally of the rear wall of the pannier. Instead of the usual spring resiliency, the invention utilizes a system of flexible but non-resilient straps so arranged that the securement of the hooks to the frame is effected by manipulating the flexible but non-resilient strap at the front wall of the pannier. The strap system is so arranged that only a fraction of the force at which the hooks grasp the supporting frame is required when tightening the strap at the front. The advance in the art is in a firmer securement of the pannier to the frame, in reduced production costs and in an increased convenience of use.
