A bicycle seat assembly (100) includes a tubular seat post (110) having an upper serrated surface (111), a threaded aperture (112) formed in the upper serrated surface (111) and aligned with a longitudinal axis (Z) of the tubular seat post (110), a saddle support structure (120) having a lower serrated surface (120a) adapted to mate with the upper serrated portion (111) of the tubular seat post (110), the lower serrated portion (120a) including a slot (123) through which a bolt (113) can extend and mate with the threaded aperture (112), and a saddle (130) adapted to mate with an upper surface (120b) of the saddle support structure (120), the saddle (130) having a opening (133) formed therein that allows access to the bolt (113) through a top surface (130b) of the saddle (130).
