This invention relates to the combination of an elongated lock wire with a support housing releasably storing therein the elongated lock wire in coiled condition. The support housing is for mounting to a bicycle frame and for releasably engaging an external anchor frame. The elongated wire is of the type comprising: a lock stud at one end, and a free opposite end. The support housing includes:a) an annular main body having one and another opposite ends, and defining an enclosure sized for receiving and accommodating the elongated lock wire in coiled condition; b) a socket member, including a socket mount integral to one end of the annular main body, and defining a socket first open end releasably engaged by the elongated wire lock stud, and a socket second open end, for releasable engagement by an unlocking key; c) an ear integrally depending from the socket mount; and d) a hinge member, pivotally mounted to the ear and fixedly mounted to the elongated wire free opposite end for hingedly retaining the latter inside the annular main body. Hence, the hinge member and ear cooperate for facilitating coiling of the elongated lock wire inside the support housing from an extended uncoiled condition.
