Abstract of the Disclosure New bicyclic compounds of the formula: (I) Image wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents hydrogen, hydroxyl or lower alkoxy, R3 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, R4 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, amino-lower-alkyl or acylamino-lower-alkyl, R5 is hydrogen) lower alkyl or aralkyl which may be substituted, R6 is hydroxyl, lower alkoxy, amino or lower alkylamino, and m and n are each 1 or 2, and salts thereof are disclosed. The compounds (I) exhibit inhibitory activity of angiotensin converting enzyme and bradykinin decomposing enzyme, and are useful as antihypertensive agents.
