A BIDET ATTACHMENT FOR TOILET BOWLS ABSTRACT This invention relates to a device which permits an ordinary toilet bowl to be used as a fully functional and a very convenient bidet. The installed device does notinterfere with the operation and use of the toilet bowl. In this invention, a bidet attachment for regular toilet bowls comprises of three embodiments as follows: In the first embodiment, a mechanism to control the temperature and delivery of wash water is housed in a small box. This control box is positioned on the exterior side of the toilet bowl. The control box is connected to the hot and cold water supplies through individual water intake connections. Two other water connections are used to connect two individual flexible tubes leading to the retractable spray nozzle and the by-pass drain pipe of the second embodiment of this invention. The second embodiment of this invention is a non-intrusive water spray system which extends automatically to spray the user's anus and genitals to be washed when the bidet attachment is operated. The retractable spray system is rinsed automatically prior to and following the use of the bidet attachment through theuse of the by-pass drain water exiting the by-pass drain pipe of the third embodiment of this invention. The third embodiment of this invention is employed for mounting the embodiments onto the toilet bowl beneath the fixed rear part of the toilet seat using the existing toilet seat attachments, and for delivering the mixed water from the control boxinto the toilet bowl.
