A BIDIRECTIONAL BUS ARRANGEMENT FOR A DIGITAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Abstract of the Disclosure A bidirectional data bus arrangement is realized with the use of a single matching resistor. This is achieved by using a current sourcing driver gate which exhibits a low impedance HIGH-state and by using the junction of the series resistor and the transmission line as the receiving node at that end of the line. When the resistor end of the transmission line is receiving data from the other end, the resistor effectively serves as a parallel terminating resistor for the transmission line. - i -
