SIVILICH BIGENDERIZED INCONTINENCE PAD ABSTRACT An incontinence pad suitable for use by males or females and manufacturable in an efficient and cost-reducing manner has a substantially rectangular shape with recessed side edges adapted to reduce bulkiness and pad compression in the perineal area, those recesses being located substan- tially closer to one end of the pad than the other, thereby to produce at opposite ends of the pad absorbent masses of different absorbing capacities, the mass of greater absorbing capacity being adapted to be located forwardly for a male and rearwardly for a female.
