The bike tutor is a device designed for the purpose of teaching children the balance and feel of riding a bicycle. The bike tutor comprises of a seat and foot rests, mounted to the head tube of an adult sized bicycle. The bike tutor does not make contact to any other section of the bicycle. The bike tutor assembly is located between the seat and handlebars of the bicycle. The child occupant hands grasp the handlebars of the bicycle between the adult operators hand position on the bicycle. The bike tutor is designed to keep interference with the adults handling of the bicycle to a minimum. The bike tutors foot rests fold upward when not in use.
