There is described a bimodal pharmaceutical composition comprising effective amounts of a first active ingredient which substantially comprises a coarse fraction and a second active ingredient which substantially comprise a fine fraction characterised in that the coarse fraction possesses a greater mass median aerodynamic diameter (MMDA) than the fine fraction. There is also described a method of a method of delivering a therapeutically effective amount of a substantially fine active ingredient to the lung of a patient by the co-administration with a substantially coarse active ingredient.
L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique bimodale contenant des quantités efficaces d'un premier ingrédient actif qui contient sensiblement une fraction grossière et d'un second ingrédient actif qui contient sensiblement une fraction fine. Cette composition est caractérisée en ce que la fraction grossière possède un diamètre aérodynamique moyen en masse (DAMM) supérieur à celui de la fraction fine. L'invention concerne également une méthode de co-administration thérapeutique d'une quantité efficace d'un ingrédient actif sensiblement fin et d'un ingrédient actif sensiblement grossier au poumon d'un patient.
