- 42 - Abstract of the disclosure Binary alloys based on polyether-amides and cycloolefin polymers. Polymer alloys based on (a) at least one thermoplastic, aromatic polyether-amide having a molecular weight of from 5000 to 40,000 and (b) at least one cycloolefin polymer are prepared. The proportions of the components are 99-50% by weight of (a) and 1-50% by weight of (b), the proportions adding up to 100% by weight, based on the total alloy. The polymer alloys can be used for the production of moldings.
