The present invention provides a textile print paste binding agent being a polymer comprising a non-aromatic unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic ester monomer and an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer. An unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid and half esters of the dicarboxylic acid also can be included. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a process of printing a textile substrate comprising applying to a surface of the textile substrate a textile print paste comprising a tinctorial amount of a dyestuff or pigment and a binding agent being a polymer comprising a non-aromatic unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic ester monomer and an aliphatic conjugated diene and heating the textile substrate to fix the dyestuff or pigment.

L'invention concerne un agent liant une pâte d'impression textile constituée d'un polymère comprenant un monomère d'ester mono ou dicarboxylique non aromatique insaturé, ainsi qu'un monomère diénique conjugué aliphatique. On peut également ajouter un acide mono ou dicarboxylique insaturé ainsi que des demi-esters de l'acide dicarboxylique. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention constitue un procédé d'impression d'un substrat textile consistant à appliquer sur la surface de celui-ci une pâte d'impression textile comprenant une quantité tinctoriale d'une matière colorante ou d'un pigment, ainsi qu'un agent liant lequel est un polymère comprenant un monomère d'ester mono ou dicarboxylique insaturé non aromatique ainsi qu'un diène aliphatique conjugué, et à chauffer le substrat textile afin de fixer la matière colorante ou le pigment.
