ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides agents which because of their bactericidal and fungicidal properties are suitable for use as disinfectants and wood preservatives, for imparting bacteri- cidal and fungicidal, properties to textiles, plastics and con- struction materials, and as preservatives for or for imparting biocidal properties to coating systems. They contain as active ingredients (a) tri-n-butyltin compounds and (b) N-propyl-N-2- (2,4,6-trichlorophenoxy)ethyl-lH-imidazole-l-carboxamide (Prochloraz) in a weight ratio ranging from 9:1 to 1:9, and more particularly from 3:1 to 1:3.
