The present invention relates to combinations of a thiol group modulating enzyme inhibitor and a pyrion com-pound which provide an improved protecting effect against fouling organisms, fungi or bacteria. More particularly, the present in-vention relates to compositions comprising a combination of a thiol group modulating enzyme inhibitor selected from dichloflu-anid, tolylfluanid, dithane, thiram, ziram, or zineb, together with a pyrion compound selected from 1-hydroxy-2-pyridinone, ci-clopirox, ciclopirox olamine, piroctone, piroctone olamine, rilopirox, pyrion disulfide, sodium pyrithione and zinc pyrithione; in respective proportions to provide a synergistic effect against fouling organisms, fungi or bacteria and the use of these composi-tions for protecting materials against fouling organisms, fungi or bacteria.
La présente invention concerne des combinaisons dun inhibiteur enzymatique modulateur des groupes thiol et dun composé pyrion, qui procurent un effet protecteur amélioré contre les organismes salissants, les champignons ou les bactéries. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne des compositions qui comprennent une combinaison dun inhibiteur enzymatique modulateur des groupes thiol choisi parmi le dichlofluanid, le tolylfluanid, le dithane, le thiram, le ziram ou le zineb, avec un composé pyrion choisi parmi la 1-hydroxy-2-pyridinone, le ciclopirox, la ciclopirox olamine, la piroctone, la piroctone olamine, le rilopirox, le disulfure de pyrion, la pyrithione de sodium et la pyrithione de zinc; en proportions respectives pour fournir un effet synergique contre les organismes salissants, les champignons ou les bactéries, et lutilisation de ces compositions pour protéger des matériaux contre les organismes salissants, les champignons ou les bactéries.
