- 1 - BIOCIDAL, PARTICULARLY VIRUCIDAL, COMPOSITIONS A B S T R A C T A dry, water-soluble biocidal composition has a broad spectrum of virucidal activity and is prepared by mixing together an alkali metal phosphate, a surfactant, a strong oxidising agent such as potassium persulphate, sulphamic acid, a non-reducing organic acid such as malic acid or succinic acid and less than 5% by weight of an inorganic halide such as sodium chloride.
