Biocidal powder coating composition comprising thermoplastic and/or thermosetting resins, based on epoxy, polyester, acrylic and/or polyurethane resins, and biocides, whereby the biocides are liquid bioactive material and/or specially selected solid bioactive material and whereby the biocides are homogeneously mixed or bonded with the particles of the thermoplastic and/or thermosetting powder.
