The present invention provides a card base which is degradable by microbes in natural environment. The card base is excellent in properties necessary for card bases, such as tensile strength, impact strength, flex temperature, heat resistance, resistance to thermal expansion and contraction, blocking resistance and humidity resistance, and has rigidity, bending resistance and durability. The card base contains, as essential components, a 3-hydroxybutylate/3-hydroxyvalerate copolymer and a lactic acid polymer, and, where necessary, a polycaprolactone or a high-molecular aliphatic polyester. The card base has a single-layer structure, or a sandwich structure further having overlay layers comprising a composition containing, as essential components, a lactic acid polymer and either or both of a polycaprolactone and a high-molecular alphatic polyester.
L'invention concerne une base de carte qui peut être dégradée par les microorganismes dans un milieu naturel. En ce qui concerne les propriétés nécessaires aux bases de cartes, la base dévoilée se distingue par son excellence à cet égard, notamment sur le plan de la résistance à la traction, de la résilience, de la température de flexion, de la résistance à la chaleur, de la résistance à la dilatation et à la contraction thermiques, de la résistance au gaufrage et à l'humidité, en plus d'être rigide, résistante au pliage et durable. La base de carte contient, comme composantes essentielles, un copolymère de 3-hydroxybutylate et de 3-hydroxyvalérate et un polymère à base d'acide lactique et, au besoin, une polycaprolactone ou un polyester aliphatique de poids moléculaire élevé. Elle a une structure monocouche ou bien en sandwich recouverte de couches comprenant une composition contenant, comme composantes essentielles, un polymère à base d'acide lactique et une polycaprolactone et/ou un polyester aliphatique de poids moléculaire élevé.
