The invention discloses a biodegradable particle-cell composition having at least one biodegradable particle, at least one receptive group covalently linked thereto, and a cell anchored thereto (Fig. 1). The particle can be polylactide, a polylactide-lysine copolymer, polylactide-lysine-polyethylene glycol copolymer, starch, or collagen. The receptive group can be an antibody, a fragment of an antibody, an avidin, a streptavidin, or a biotin moiety. Moreover, the particle can also have extracellular matrix components other than collagen. The particle-cell compositions can be used for selection of cells from a population, for cell culture of anchorage-dependent cells, for cryopreservation of anchorage-dependent cells, and for transplantation as a cell therapy.
L'invention concerne une composition à base de cellules et de particules biodégradables qui contiennent au moins une particule biodégradable, au moins un groupe récepteur lié par covalence à celle-ci, ainsi qu'une cellule ancrée dans ce groupe récepteur. La particule peut être un polylactide, un copolymère polylactide-lysine, un copolymère polylactide-lysine-polyéthylène glycole, de l'amidon ou du collagène. Le groupe récepteur peut être un anticorps, un fragment d'anticorps, une avidine, une streptavidine, ou une fraction de biotine. De plus, la particule peut comporter des composants matriciels extracellulaires autres que le collagène. Les compositions à base de cellules et de particules peuvent servir dans différentes applications telles que la sélection de cellules dans une population, la culture cellulaire de cellules dépendantes d'un support, la cryoconservation de cellules dépendantes d'un support, ainsi que la transplantation dans le champ de la thérapie cellulaire.
