A process for the formation of biodiesel comprising: (I) obtaining a biooil containing at least one fatty acid glyceride; (II) contacting the biooil with at least one microorganism capable of hydrolysing at least one ester bond of said at least one glyceride to form a hydrolysed biooil; (III) directly or indirectly using said hydrolysed biooil in biodiesel.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de formation de biodiesel, lequel procédé consiste à: (I) obtenir une bio-huile contenant au moins un glycéride d'acide gras, (II) mettre la bio-huile en contact avec au moins un microorganisme capable d'hydrolyser au moins une liaison ester du glycéride précité afin de former une bio-huile hydrolysée, (III) utiliser, directement ou indirectement, ladite bio-huile hydrolysée dans du biodiesel.
