The invention concerns a biological material for preparing pharmaceutical compositions for treating mammals, comprising: either a nucleic acid sequence containing at least a gene of therapeutic interest and elements expressing said gene in vivo in target cells genetically modified by one said nucleic sequence; or at least a target cell not producing antibodies naturally, genetically modified in vitro by at least one said nucleic acid sequence. The invention is characterised in that said gene of therapeutic interest codes for all or part of an antibody expressed at the surface of said target cell and said antibody is capable of fixing itself to a polypeptide present at the surface of a cytotoxic effector cell or a T lymphocyte helper and involved in the process activating such a cell.
Matériel biologique pour la préparation de compositions pharmaceutiques destinées au traitement de mammifères comprenant: soit au moins une séquence d'acide nucléique contenant au moins un gène d'intérêt thérapeutique et des éléments assurant l'expression dudit gène in vivo dans des cellules cibles génétiquement modifiées par une dite séquence d'acide nucléique; soit au moins une cellule cible ne produisant pas naturellement des anticorps, génétiquement modifiée in vitro par au moins une séquence d'acide nucléique précédente, caractérisé en ce que ledit gène d'intérêt thérapeutique code pour tout ou partie d'un anticorps exprimé à la surface de ladite cellule cible et en ce que ledit anticorps est capable de se fixer à un polypeptide présent à la surface d'une cellule effectrice cytotoxique ou d'un lymphocyte T helper et impliqué dans le procédé d'activation d'une telle cellule.
