An apparatus for detecting a biological object includes a transparent plate, onto which an object to be detected is placed, for allowing a passage of projected light and reflected light used for an optical detection, a light source located under the transparent plate for projecting a light beam used for a biological object detection toward a portion of the surface of the placed object toward which a light beam for detecting a characteristic pattern of the surface of the placed object is directed, and a light detection unit located below the transparent plate for receiving the light projected from the light source and subsequently reflected by the surface of the object placed on or pressed onto the transparent plate and detecting the characteristic of a reflection rate of the received light. The detection of whether or not the detected object is a biological object is carried out by detecting the characteristic of the reflection rate of the received light by the light detection unit, on the basis of the changes in a color of a surface of the biological object due to a pressure applied to the biological object when the biological object is pressed onto the transparent plate.
Un appareil pour déceler un objet biologique comprend une plaque transparente, sur laquelle est placé l'objet à déceler, de façon à permettre le passage de la lumière projetée et de la lumière réfléchie servant à la détection optique; une source de lumière située sous la plaque transparente projette un faisceau lumineux vers une partie de la surface de l'objet de façon à déceler une structure caractéristique de cette surface; une unité de photodétection, placée en dessous de la plaque transparente, reçoit la lumière projetée par la source puis réfléchie par la surface de l'objet placé ou pressé sur la plaque transparente, et décèle les caractéristiques du taux de réflexion de la lumière incidente. On peut dire si l'objet ainsi décelé est de nature biologique ou non en déterminant le taux de réflexion de la lumière incidente grâce à l'unité de photodétection, et en se basant sur le changement de couleur de la surface de l'objet biologique, causé par une pression exercée sur l'objet lorsque celui-ci est pressé contre la plaque transparente.
