A biometric instrument comprises a color image signal generating section for carrying out a signal processing of a first imaging signal generated by imaging a subject illuminated with a white illuminating light by using color filters each having a wavelength transmission characteristic in a broad band or a second imaging signal generated by imaging the subject illuminated with a field-sequential illuminating light covering the visible region so as to generate a color image signal, a spectral image signal generating section for generating a spectral image signal corresponding to the image signal in a narrow band from the first or second imaging signal by processing the color image signal, and one of a characteristic changing section in a display color change section for changing the display color of when the spectral image signal is displayed and an interface section for giving an instruction to change and/or confirm information including the image to be displayed.
La présente invention concerne un instrument biométrique comprenant les éléments ci-après. Une unité génératrice d'un signal d'image couleur traite un premier signal d'imagerie, produit par imagerie d'un sujet éclairé par une lumière blanche au moyen de filtres colorés possédant chacun des propriétés de transmission de longueur d'onde à large bande, ou un second signal d'imagerie, produit par imagerie du sujet éclairé par une lumière à séquence de trames correspondant à la zone visible, de façon à générer un signal d'image couleur. Une unité génératrice de signal d'image spectrale crée un signal d'image spectrale correspondant au signal d'image couleur en bande étroite à partir du premier ou du second signal d'imagerie par le traitement du signal d'image couleur. L'instrument biométrique comprend en outre les deux dispositifs suivants : une unité de modification de caractéristiques intégrée à une unité de modification de couleur d'affichage, qui permet de changer la couleur d'affichage du signal d'image spectrale ; une unité d'interface, qui permet de transmettre des instructions de modification et/ou de confirmation d'informations concernant notamment l'image à afficher.
