McGinnis ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A biological probe having one or more electrodes on its exterior surface for detecting electrical potentials such as electrocardiogram volt- ages. The exposed surfaces of the electrodes merge smoothly with the surrounding surfaces of the probe to minimize tissue trauma. The electrodes may be formed by applying and curing a liquid material on the probe body, and the electrodes may be electrically connected to conductors embedded in the probe by the same appli- cation and curing steps.
