ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A biologically degradable film is prepared consisting of a synthetic polymer and a biologically degradable plant material, the plant material having a high oil content and being ground, dried and pulverized. The film is prepared in the film extruder in which the dried pulverized plant material is mixed, possibly with other additives, with a synthetic polymer and a film is formed therefrom. The invention also is directed to the biologically degradable film produced by the method.
