EGFR biomakers useful in a method for identifying a mammal that will respond therapeutically to a method of treating cancer comprising administering an EGFR modulator, wherein the method comprises (a) exposing the mammal to the EGFR modulator and (b) measuring in the mammal level of at least one biomaker, wherein a difference in the level in at least one biomaker measured in (b) compared to the level of the biomaker in a mammal that has not been exposed to the EGFR modulator indicates that the mammal will respond therapeutically to the method of treating cancer.

L'invention concerne des biomarqueurs EGFR utilisés dans une méthode d'identification d'un mammifère réagissant d'un point de vue thérapeutique à une méthode de traitement du cancer, consistant à administrer un modulateur EGFR. Ladite méthode consiste (a) à exposer le mammifère au modulateur EGFR, et (b) à mesurer chez le mammifère le niveau d'au moins un biomarqueur, une différence de niveau d'au moins un biomarqueur mesuré au cours de l'étape (b) par rapport au niveau d'un biomarqueur chez un mammifère n'ayant pas été exposé au modulateur EGFR indiquant que le mammifère réagit d'un point de vue thérapeutique à la méthode de traitement du cancer.
