A device for removing tissue from a patient during a biopsy procedure utilizing a biopsy collection device is provided. The biopsy collection device (100) includes a body portion (120) configured for attachment to an endoscope (10) and a receptacle portion (130) configured to retain a portion of tissue removed from a target site during the biopsy procedure. The biopsy collection device further includes a passageway (129) configured to receive a biopsy sampling device, such as a pair of forceps, passing through the endoscope to the target site.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour retirer un tissu d'un patient au cours d'une procédure de biopsie au moyen d'un dispositif de recueil de biopsie. Le dispositif de collecte de biopsie (100) comprend une partie corps (120) conçue pour être fixée sur un endoscope (10), et une partie réceptacle (130) conçue pour retenir une partie de tissu retirée d'un site cible au cours de la procédure de biopsie.
