A sensor system for detecting an effector or cofactor comprises (a) a nucleic acid enzyme; (b) a substrate for the nucleic acid enzyme, comprising a first polynucleotide; (c) a first set of particles comprising a second polynucleotide at least partially complementary to the substrate, where the polynucleotide is attached to the particles at its 3' terminus; and (d) a second set of particles comprising a third polynucleotide at least partially complementary to the substrate, where the polynucleotide is attached to the particles at its 5' terminus.

L'invention concerne un système de capteur permettant de détecter un effecteur ou cofacteur. Ledit système comprend: (a) une enzyme d'acide nucléique; (b) un substrat pour l'enzyme d'acide nucléique, comprenant un premier polynucléotide; (c) un premier ensemble de particules comprenant un second polynucléotide au moins partiellement complémentaire du substrat, le polynucléotide étant fixé aux particules au niveau de sa terminaison 3'; et (d) un second ensemble de particules comprenant un troisième polynucléotide au moins partiellement complémentaire du substrat, le polynucléotide étant fixé aux particules au niveau de sa terminaison 5'.
