Each of separators (58) for sandwiching a plurality of electrolyte electrode assemblies (56) includes a pair of plates (60, 62). A fuel gas channel (67) and an oxygen-containing gas channel (82) are formed between the plates (60, 62). First and second circumferential ridges (83a, 83b) are formed integrally on curved outer sections of the plates (60, 62) to protrude away from each other. Further, outer projections (85a, 85b) and inner projections (87a, 87b) are formed integrally on opposite sides of the first and second circumferential ridges (83a, 83b) to protrude toward each other.
Chacun des séparateurs (58) servant à prendre en sandwich une pluralité d'ensembles électrolyte/électrode (56) comprend une paire de plaques (60, 62).
