Polyesters comprising the reaction product of a polyol and a bis-epoxy reacted with a mono- and/or di-phenolic carboxylic acid and/or ester are disclosed. Food cans coated at least in part on the interior with a composition comprising these polyesters are also disclosed. The composition used on the food cans is substantially free of BPA and BPF and substantially free of BADGE and BFDGE. Food cans coated at least in part on the interior with a composition comprising a polyester having a loss of molecular weight of iess than 50% in an acidic medium are also disclosed.
La présente invention porte sur des polyesters comprenant le produit de réaction d'un polyol et d'un bis-époxyde ayant réagi avec un acide et/ou un ester carboxylique mono- et/ou di-phénolique. La présente invention porte également sur des boîtes de conserve dont l'intérieur est revêtu au moins en partie d'une formule comprenant ces polyesters. La formule employée sur les boîtes de conserve ne contient sensiblement pas de BPA, ni de BPF, ni de BADGE, ni de BFDGE.
