Abstract of the disclosure: Bis(hyaroxyphenyl)-alkanoic acid esters the phenyl radicals of which are alkylated twice are prepared by alkylation of corresponding compounds carrying one alkyl radical at the nucleus, using isobutylene as alkylating agent. The alkenoic acid esters are obtained in crystelline form and are suitable as stabilizers for polyolefins.
