The invention provides novel bisazo compounds obtained by coupling two 2-hydroxynaphthalene-3,6-dicarboxylic acid derivatives and a compound having two diazo groups, as well as a process for producing the same. The present compounds are superior in resistance to water, chemical agents, solvents, heat and the like.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de préparation de nouveaux composés de bisazo qui consiste à coupler un dérivé d'acide hydroxynaphthalène-3,6-dicarboxylique avec un composé possédant deux groupes diazo dans la molécule à un rapport molaire de 2:1. Ces composés présentent une excellente résistance à l'eau, aux produits chimiques, aux solvants et à la chaleur.
