ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Bizazomethine dyes of the general formula: Image in which A and D are optionally substituted benzene or naphth- alene nuclei, E is an optionally substituted salicyaldehyde or o-hydroxy-naphthaladehyde nucleus and G is an optionally substituted 2-amino-pyridine nucleus. Metal-modified polypropy- lene dyed with the bisazomethine dye has excellent fastness properties.
