A method of preparing an elastomeric polymer comprising the step of reacting a bisoxazolone with a primary or secondary di-amine terminated oligomer. Also disclosed is a polymer having the formula comprising the repeat unit (I), where R1, R2, R3 and R4 can be any alkyl or aryl groups and R5 the amine terminated oligomer.

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un polymère élastomère comprenant l'étape de réaction d'un bisoxazolone avec un oligomère primaire ou secondaire à terminaison diamine. Cette invention concerne également un polymère doté de la formule renfermant l'unité de répétition, où R1, R2, R3 et R4 peuvent représenter n'importe quel groupe alkyle ou aryle et R5 l'oligomère à terminaison amine.
