Abstract of the disclosure The invention relates to a bitumen additive of molten and regranulated waste plastics. To achieve a ready solu- bility in bitumen, it is provided that the waste plastics consist of a granular material which is ground in the solidified state and has a grain distribution of 0 to 8 mm, in particular to 5 mm, with a defined grain-size distribution curve, the individual grains possessing a rough surface.
