The invention provides a process for preparing a bitumen composition comprising blowing a mixture with an oxygen-containing gas which mixture comprises a bitumen having a penetration of at least 300 dmm (as measured by ASTM D 5 at 25°C), a thermoplastic rubber which is present in an amount of less than 10 %w and a bitumen blowing catalyst which is present in an amount in the range of from 1 to 3 %w, both based on total mixture; bitumen compositions obtainable by such process; and the use of such bitumen compositions in a bitumen for industrial applications.

L'invention porte sur un procédé pour préparer une composition de bitume, par soufflage d'un mélange avec un gaz oxygéné, mélange qui renferme un bitume possédant une pénétration d'au moins 300 dmm (selon les mesures ASTM D effectuées entre 5 et 25 degrés C), un caoutchouc thermoplastique présent à raison de moins de 10 % en poids, et un catalyseur de soufflage pour le bitume, présent à raison de 1 à 3 % en poids, les deux pourcentages étant basés sur le mélange total; compositions de bitume obtenues grâce à ce procédé et utilisation de ces compositions dans un bitume destiné à des applications industrielles.
