The invention concerns bitumen felt composed of several bitumen layers comprising a support layer (1) and at least two bitumen layers (2, 3.1) applied one on top of the other to a first side of the support layer. On the second side of the support layer (1), a strip (3.2) of a bitumen layer is applied along the longitudinal edge of the felt, the width (b) of the strip being smaller than the width (B) of the felt. The strip is made of the same bitumen material as the outer bitumen layer (3.1) on the first side of the support layer (1). Another bitumen layer (4) which is adjacent to the bitumen strip (3.2) applied along the longitudinal edge is applied to the second side of the support layer (1). This additional layer is composed of a different bitumen material to the bitumen strip (3.2) and extends from the strip to the other longitudinal edge of the felt. This design enables the overlap areas to be particularly well sealed when laying the bitumen felts.
L'invention concerne un feutre bituminé comportant plusieurs couches de bitume, constitué d'une couche support (1) et d'au moins deux couches de bitume (2, 3.1) superposées sur une première face de la couche support (1). Une bande (3.2) d'une couche de bitume, appliquée sur la deuxième face de la couche support (1) le long d'une arête longitudinale du feutre, présente une largeur (b) inférieure à la largeur (B) du feutre. Cette bande est réalisée dans le même matériau de bitume que la couche de bitume extérieure (3.1) appliquée sur la première face de la couche support (1). Une couche de bitume (4) supplémentaire, appliquée sur la deuxième face de la couche support (1) est adjacente aux bandes de bitume (3.2) s'étendant le long de l'arête longitudinale. Cette couche supplémentaire est réalisée dans un matériau de bitume différent de celui de la bande de bitume (3.2) et s'étend de cette dernière jusqu'à l'autre arête longitudinale du feutre. Cette conception permet d'obtenir un soudage particulièrement fiable dans les zones à recouvrement, lors de la pose des feutres bituminés.
