A B S T R A C T A process for the preparation of a mixture of a chemically modified bituminous binder with aggregate and/or filler, comprising chemically modifying, by means of a chemical modifier, at least a part of a non-emulsified bituminous binder during the mixing thereof with aggregate and/or filler. This mixture is very suitable to coat surfaces, e.g. road surfaces.
