A blade assembly is provided for use with an all terrain cycle type vehicle and includes a main frame attached to an optional winch frame of the cycle and by a T shaped strut which extends rearwardly underneath the vehicle for attachment to the foot peg element of the cycle. The main frame defines a main transverse member forming a transverse axis about which a pivot frame portion can be raised and lowered. At the front of the pivot frame portion is provided the blade which is mounted upon slide arms which can be adjusted from retracted positions to extended positions to incline the blade to one side or other of the vehicle. The pivot frame portion and the blade can be raised and lowered by an extendible element extending from a tower portion to a forward part of the pivot frame portion. The extendable element can be operated by cable system actuated by the winch of the vehicle with the winch being rotatable in a first direction to extend or lower the blade and in an opposed direction to raise the blade.
