The blade attachment described herein includes blade positioning pins and a quick release fastening device. In the preferred embodiment, the quick release fastener comprises an overlying plate member which is releasably held in place over the blade, to secure the blade to the positioning pins. In a further feature, this plate is in the form of a sliding sleeve arranged to frictionally engage the blade and the blade support arm.
