ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a blade shaft arrange- ment to be used in a blade shaft chipping machine of the type including blade assemblies having blades made of strip steel, and blade holders, said blades being force-lockedly fastened in blade holders, the improvement comprising a groove-and-tongue connection provided between each blade and blade holder for said force-locked fastening of said blade in said blade holder.
